Garden Design

We can draw on a wide range of resources and select specific materials and finishes. As a result, this enables us to create bespoke garden features and finishes for you. We can choose plants that are likely to thrive in your garden and look fabulous for ages.

We can oversee every step of the project from concept to planting. This makes the creation of your new garden as seamless and straightforward as possible.

Whether you need help with building a new outdoor living space or require expert knowledge for your planting plan, we can provide both.

Our Design Services

Bronze Option

  • Artist Impressions

We will produce a number of drawings that have been agreed between you and Dixons Landscapes Ltd based on our discussion with you during our visit about your vision for the site.

They may also include our recommendations based on our experience in landscaping and garden design.

Silver Option

  • Artist Impressions

  • Detailed site survey

  • Plan view to scale

In addition to the artistic impressions, as detailed in option one, the detailed site survey of the site undertaken by us includes a physical measuring of the site, boundaries, existing features, and levels.

The detailed plan view of the site will include all the above and the location of current plants and trees, levels, steps, drainage and lighting and any other features.

Gold Option

  • Artist Impressions

  • Detailed site survey

  • Plan view to scale

  • Planting scheme/plan

In addition to the artistic impressions, as detailed in option two, the planting scheme will be designed by our in-house horticulturist based on your discussion with him during the visit about your vision for the site design including aspect and position.

The planting plan may also include the horticulturist's recommendations. Planting options will vary depending on available stock for a time of year

Planting Schemes

It is also important to consider which plants will thrive in their given environment taking care of where to plant them and ensuring an adequate amount of light.

Most plants will die if they do not receive plenty of water and new planting should be watered regularly for the first 24 months; a drip feed watering system will help to establish the longevity of your plants.

We enjoy a good working relationship with some of the area’s highly regarded growers that specialise in the care of mature trees, shrubs and aquatic plants, and as a result, our designer will be able to present a planting plan based upon the experts’ recommendations.

You are more than welcome to add your own plant wish list and we can advise you accordingly on the suitability of your desired plants and shrubs for your new garden.
